HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — Deputies are investigating the death of a man found at an abandoned construction site in northeast Harris County, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
The victim had been shot several times.
Investigators said a friend found the man around 8:30 a.m. on East Hillside Drive. That's near the Eastex Freeway.
Deputies said the man may have been living at the construction site.
