HOUSTON — A man was found shot to death in east Houston Monday night, according to Houston police.
It happened around 8 p.m. at an apartment complex on Flemming Drive near the East Freeway.
Lt. J.P. Horelica with HPD said police received a call about gunfire heard in the area. When police got there, they searched the scene and found a body in some bushes.
The man, who was in his late teens or early 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Horelica said witnesses told police before the shooting, they saw the deceased man with two other men.
No one is in custody at this time. An investigation is underway.
