HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - A man has been charged with capital murder in the stabbing death of his girlfriend, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
Darnell Burnside, 49, was arrested in Louisiana on Thursday.
He's accused of murdering his girlfriend, Ashley George, 25. Her body was found in a park in Clear Lake in April.
She and Burnside are also suspected of killing Burnside's wife in Mississippi in February. It's unclear what charges he faces in that case.
Burnside is currently in custody in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
