SEABROOK, Texas -- A La Porte woman was charged with aggravated assault after allegedly running over her boyfriend following a domestic dispute.

On Wednesday at approximately 7:14 a.m., the Seabrook Police Department received a 911 call in regards to an automobile and pedestrian accident at the 700 block of Second Street in Seabrook.

Upon arrival officers discovered a blue Honda Civic had struck a male pedestrian, Dustin Scholesser, 25, who had been running eastbound on Second Street.

After being evaluated by Clear Lake Emergency Medical Corp., Scholesser was flown via Life Flight to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was being treated for head injuries.

The preliminary investigation indicated the driver of the Honda Civic, Natalie Kuykendall of La Porte, 24, and Scholesser were involved in a domestic dispute prior to the incident. During the dispute Scholesser left an unknown address on Todville Road in Seabrook traveling on foot.

Kuykendall then left in the Honda Civic and located Scholesser on Second Street. At some point upon locating Scholesser, Kuydendall struck Scholesser causing him to hit the windshield of the vehicle. At that time a non-involved observer of the incident called 911 to report the accident to authorities.

Kuykendall has been taking into custody by the Seabrook Police Department and has been charged with aggravated assault; intentionally causing serious body injury.
