HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — An alleged drunk driver was arrested early Saturday morning after police said he fell asleep behind the wheel while he was driving.
According to Precinct 4 deputies, Glenn Etienne was found slumped over the wheel in the 14000 block of Jones Road. Etienne tried to drive off when witnesses woke him up, but he crashed into two wrecker trucks near the scene.
EMS personnel were able to take his keys away from him.
Deputies said Etienne showed signs of intoxication. They gave him a Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and deputies determined he was driving while intoxicated.
Etienne was taken to jail and charged.
