HOUSTON — A homicide investigation is underway after a man in his 70s was found dead inside his Montrose apartment Tuesday night, according to Houston police.
It happened at a complex on Colquitt Street near Richmond Avenue.
Police did a welfare check at the apartment after neighbors reported they hadn't heard from their neighbor all day.
Neighbors told police they looked in the window and saw the man down inside the apartment.
HPD and HFD went inside and found a man in his 70s dead.
Police said it wasn't a "natural" death. Homicide investigators are working to determine how the man died.
