GALVESTON, Texas — A 24-year-old man was arrested and charged Tuesday, a day after he's accused of beating another man who was found along the Seawall.

Trevor Tedore, of Sugar Land, was arrested in League City. He's charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury. His bond was set at $200,000, according to the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office.

According to investigators, the victim's body was found along Seawall Boulevard near 31st Street around 1:15 a.m. Monday. They said he appeared to have been beaten and had injuries to his head and face. He was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
