HOUSTON — Coca Cola introduced two new flavors for the holidays: cinnamon Coke and winter spiced cranberry Sprite.
We recruited taste testers at Discovery Green to help us describe the taste to you.
Cinnamon Coke
The limited-edition flavor has a hint of cinnamon added to the classic flavor. Before tasting it, our testers thought it smelled like snickerdoodle, pumpkin spice and cinnamon. The cinnamon flavor creeps in the aftertaste.
Winter Spiced Cranberry Sprite
Cranberry Sprite is not a new flavor but the “winter spice” gives it a holiday feel. Our testers guessed it was green apple, sour apple or blood orange. The winter spiced cranberry gives the whole drink a fruity flavor that replaces the bite you normally get from the lemon-lime flavored soda.
The cinnamon Coke and winter spiced cranberry Sprite will be available through the end of the year or while supplies last.
