Woman uses 'mom voice' to stop moose in its tracks, save dog

Turns out, the 'mom voice' works on more than just naughty kids.

ALASKA, USA — Most of us have heard of the ‘mom voice.” You know, the voice moms get when she’s fed up with your shenanigans and she goes from “normal voice” to the “I’m not playing with you” voice.

Turns out, it works on more than naughty kids.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey! No,” a woman can be heard saying on camera to… a… wait for it… a moose!

Cathy, who lives in Alaska, said a moose was on her porch charging at her 5-pound dog. So,  Cathy turned on that “mom” voice and stopped the moose in its tracks, giving her dog enough time to run for safety.
