HOUSTON — A scared and hungry little puppy was rescued from a storm drain Monday by two kind-hearted Precinct 4 employees.
Neighbors in the Sandpiper Village subdivision said they'd heard the puppy crying for help for at least a couple of days.
Corporal Travis Gonzalez and Deputy Tommy Johnson pulled the pup from the 12-foot drain in Sandpiper Park, Constable Mark Hermann said.
The puppy seemed to be in good condition.
