Former President & CEO of Blue Bell, Ricky Dickson, shares his 43-year career journey at Blue Bell & history of the company in his new book "One Scoop at a Time."

"What started out as a college term paper opened the door to an amazing 43-year career at Blue Bell Creameries for Ricky Dickson. Throughout his journey that led to him becoming President and CEO of Blue Bell, Ricky's life has been filled with many blessings, but also extremely difficult times that challenged his faith, leaving him searching for answers.

It's in those moments when Dickson realized when there was nothing more he could do, he anchored in his faith by totally depending on God. He discovered that when fear tried to relentlessly take over, peace came at the same place where faith began, following God's direction... One Scoop at a Time."

There will be a book signing on Thursday, July 18 at the Blue Bell Headquarters' Country Store in Brenham, Texas from 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. and then again on July 19th from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. 

July is National Ice Cream Month and Blue Bell Creameries is celebrating with their newest flavor, Cookies 'n Cream Cheesecake Ice Cream.
