Sponsored: Walk to End Alzheimer's with the Alzheimer's Association

The Alzheimer's Association serves families all across America who are facing Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.

HOUSTON — The one word  use to describe a Walk to End Alzheimer's event is "hope".

From the moment you enter the event you instantly find a community of individuals who are supporting each other through the Alzheimer's journey and hundreds of others who are there to support our vision of ending this disease. It's a morning remembrance for the millions of lives lost to this disease, but also a celebration of the massive progress we have made in treating this disease. For those attending this event, you'll be able to join with others who are  in the fight, connect with local resources, and learn more about ways to get involved with the Alzheimer's Association.

There are 6 Walks here in the Houston area from The Woodlands to Fort Bend County, from Galveston to Katy, culminating in the Houston walk on November 9th. These events are a great way to spend a few hours on a Saturday morning supporting a great cause. It's pet friendly, kid friendly, wheelchair friendly and full of activities for everyone.
