Sponsored: Ms. Marissa Hirsch from French Elementary receives the first Randalls Red Apple Award of the 2024-2025 school year

Randalls Red Apple Award is gifted to one standout educator in the Greater Houston Area each month within the school year.

HOUSTON — We all have that one teacher that lifted us up, inspired us to be something bigger and encouraged us to maybe do what we are doing today. Great Day Houston and Randalls want to reward those unforgettable educators with the Red Apple Award.

The Randalls Red Apple Award for September goes to Ms. Marissa Hirsch from French Elementary School in Klein ISD. She was nominated by her brother, Austin Hirsch and sister-in law, Tayler Hirsch. Austin says Ms. Hirsch is everything that exemplifies a teacher from her passion for learning and education to her enthusiasm for reaching even the harder to reach students. She spends her summers preparing her decorations for her class to make sure the kids are surrounded with excitement and Joy. She makes learning fun for the kids and she is a real life, Miss Frizzel.

Principal, Holly Conroy, says Ms. Hirsch is a team player who always puts her students at the center of all that she does. She encourages them to believe in themselves and to always strive for success.
