HOUSTON – “Sons of Anarchy” star Charlie Hunnam is returning to the Lone Star State to meet with fans at Comicpalooza.

The event will be held on June 17- 19 at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

“We know that Charlie’s recent trip to Texas to meet with fans did not go as either he or his fans had hoped,” said John Simons, founder of Comicpalooza. “But it’s simply amazing that he would come right back to create a memorable experience for his fans almost immediately. He is very dedicated to his fans, and we are honored to have him at Comicpalooza.”

Hunnam is best known as Jax Teller, but his career began in his native England, after which he moved to Los Angeles and landed a part in the short-lived Judd Apatow comedy series, “Undeclared,” before transitioning to films such as “Cold Mountain,” “Children of Men” and the massive sci-fi hit “Pacific Rim.”

Hunnam will be starring in the upcoming action-adventure movie, “The Lost City of Z.”

The SOA star is scheduled to appear on both Saturday and Sunday at the event.

Hunnam is honoring the Sons of Anarchy VIP ticket holders from Space City Comic Con, offering them free autographs. Wolf Studios will honor unredeemed VIP photo op vouchers from Space City Comic Con.

In addition, Comicpalooza will issue one free adult three-day pass to each of those SOA VIP ticket holders. Space City Comic Con and Comicpalooza are separate entities and are not connected to each other in any way.

The Comicpalooza 2016 guest lineup also features the 30th anniversary Aliens cast reunion of Sigourney Weaver, Bill Paxton, Paul Reiser, Carrie Henn, Michael Biehn, Jenette Goldstein, William Hope, Ricco Ross, Mark Rolston, Daniel Kash, and Cynthia Scott.

Comicpalooza will host other stellar talent, including “Underworld” star Kate Beckinsale, Norman Reedus (“The Walking Dead,” “Boondock Saints”), Carl Weathers (“Predator,” Rocky franchise), Michael Rooker (“Guardians of the Galaxy,” “The Walking Dead”), world-renowned wrestler Ric Flair®, Lennie James (“The Walking Dead”), Lou Ferrigno (“The Incredible Hulk”), Eliza Dushku (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Angel”), Walter Koenig (Star Trek), David Prowse (Darth Vader, Star Wars), New York Times best-selling authors Mercedes Lackey, Leslie Klinger, and Sherrilyn Kenyon as well as comic book greats Adam Kubert, John Ostrander and Mike Zeck.
