Elizabeth Olsen never got that 'Fuller House' offer

Full House star and cast wrangler John Stamos said in an interview that he suggested recasting Michelle Tanner when Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen refused to return for the Fuller House Netflix revival. Plan B? Younger sister Elizabeth, who plays Scarlet Witch in Captain America: Civil War and Hank Williams' first wife Audrey in biopic I Saw the Light.

"We talked to her agent, and her agent was like, 'Come on, she's not going to do that.' But we did call her agent," Stamos said about Elizabeth on Andy Cohen's SiriusXM show.

But here's the thing: Elizabeth Olsen, herself, never got word that Stamos and series creator Jeff Franklin were talking about her.

"I never heard any of it, and I'm sure my agent, manager did neither," Olsen said at Tuesday night's premiere of 'I Saw the Light' in Los Angeles. "Maybe it was out there, but never went my way."

That doesn't mean she thinks the whole thing is a rumor, though.

"Jeff Franklin said (he wanted me), so I feel like it must have some truth to it, and I grew up knowing him. But I have no idea."
