HOUSTON — It’s been almost a full week now rave reviews from TikTok food critic Keith Lee. So far Lee has visited six spots in Houston.
Here are the six spots and their average ratings.
Lee started his tour at Stick Talk and the average of his ratings came out at 7.27 out of 10.
Next, he stopped at Butter Funk with an average rating of 6.5 out of 10.
Butter Funk owner Aaron Johnson said his small family business is trying to keep up after Lee's video review of his restaurant was posted Sunday night.
"Picking up catfish, loads of catfish. It has been unreal how much catfish I went through," he said. "I didn't think it was going to be what it turned out to be."
"Prior to Keith Lee, we were doing about 15, 20 cases of catfish a week. So far today, I'm, like, on 10," he said.
Then it was Breakfast Klub with an average score of 9.65 out of 10 but his wife gave it a 10 out of 10.
The Puddery was next with an average rating of 7.8 out of 10.
"I'm not even a sweets person. This is immaculate. I'm not gonna lie, for them not to be out the door, I'm absolutely speechless. I don't say this often," Lee said about the dessert shop.
The day after the review, the line was, in fact, out the door and around the corner before The Puddery even opened Wednesday.
Owner Janel Prator said they sold out of most of their desserts around 3:30 p.m.
"We renamed the croffle the 'Keith Lee croffle.' ... The strawberry pudding was the first to sell out," Prator said. "It's huge. Yesterday, I had five customers. Today (Wednesday), I've had about 90 customers. I'm expecting a lot more tomorrow."
Then it was Cool Runnings with an average score of 7.55 out of 10. And, it's the only restaurant so far to get a 10 out of 10 from Lee.
Then on Thursday night, he stopped at the Better Box and the average rating there was 8.17 out of 10.
After learning that someone had stolen the tip jar at Cool Runnings, he went inside and replaced the stolen $50 with a $1,000 tip. He also tipped the cook and paid for the orders of everyone in line.
Here's what Lee had to say about Houston as a whole.
“So far Houston is up there with New Orleans in my eyes when it comes to food,” he said. “It's close.”

The food truck opens Saturday at 11 a.m. and will stay open until the food runs out.
