Adele helps gay couple get engaged at her concert

Thinking about proposing to your partner? Best to do it at an Adele concert for good luck. In the grand tradition of people popping the question on the singer's 25 tour, Swedish fan André Söderberg proposed to his boyfriend, Simon Carlsson, during Adele's Tuesday stop at Forum arena in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Adele invited the couple to the stage after noticing their ice cream cone-shaped glasses. Moments after joining her, Söderberg, 18, got down on bended knee before Carlsson, 20, and an audience of 10,000-plus fans.

And if that description doesn't have you rolling in the deep, one fan account has the video.

"I had been thinking about asking him to marry me but when Adele invited us to the stage, it just happened," Söderberg, 18, told The Sun Wednesday. "I thought, 'Why not now?'"

"I had a plastic ring on which we had bought earlier in the day when we were buying costumes," he continued. "So, I took that ring and put it on his finger. What can I say? I just love him so much!"

Rumor has it that Adele also joked about being the couple's surrogate, but we imagine their primary focus will be planning the wedding (and saving for a real ring). Ah, young love.
