Amanda Henderson is an Emmy-nominated reporter for KHOU 11 and is ecstatic to start working in Houston.
For about the past five years, Amanda reported in San Antonio. While there she covered major events such as the COVID-19 pandemic, deadly winter storm and the Robb Elementary mass shooting.
Even though this is her first time living in Houston, Amanda grew up visiting family in the area and attending Houston Astros games.
When not working, Amanda loves to read, be outdoors and travel to new countries. She recently climbed Volcan Acatenango in Guatemala! Amanda is also a diehard Houston Astros, San Antonio Spurs and Green Bay Packers fan (yes, loyal to all for decades)!
