HOUSTON — Hurricane Earl made a pass just east of Bermuda yesterday and continues to maintain hurricane status as it races into the North Atlantic. Aside from that storm there are 3 other tropical waves, all of which have low chances of development.
The lull in activity is a bit unusual as the peak of the season is tomorrow, September the 10th.
