HOUSTON — Severe weather moved through parts of the Houston area Friday afternoon. As the storms moved through, many of you shared photos and videos with us using the Near Me feature of our news app.
For periods of time, Houston-area counties were under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning. There was also a Flash Flood Warning for Harris and Galveston counties.

We'll start in Spring where a user named 'Metrotank' shared a tree on top of a house.
Metrotank also shared video of heavy rain.

Ronald Sims in League City caught a driver going through high water. This is the area where there was a Flash Flood Warning.
