Today is the start of a pattern that will last through the weekend. A mix of clouds and sun with a southerly breezy and an isolated shower is possible today through the weekend.
A powerful storm system tracks through the middle of the country on Friday dragging through its associated cold front. This will slightly increase our risk for showers and thunderstorms, mainly north of the city.
Friday, through the weekend the rain chances continue as a few systems pass through. The rain chances and risk for stronger storms looks to stay out of our area.
While the core for any organized severe weather will stay across the Great Plains and Midwest, a few passing showers or storms are possible Friday and Saturday, for the start of the Final Four.
Rain chances stick around through Sunday as that same Friday front lifts back up as a warm front...and as the name suggests lots of warmth and humidity will move in along with it.
Temperatures remain warm through the weekend and into the start of the following week.
