HOUSTON - Sunshine and temperatures around 70 degrees made for a decent Thursday afternoon, but we'll see a shift in the weather Friday with winds starting to pick up.
Friday morning and through the afternoon sustained winds around 20-25 mph with gusts up to 40-45 mph could cause power outages and potentially damage across the area. Widespread advisories across the state about the winds and storm are expected.
