HOUSTON — If you’re attending the University of Houston graduation, you’re going to want to plan ahead. Traffic might be an issue.
The university said on its website that because of unforeseen delays in road construction on Cullen Boulevard and Holman Street by Harris County contractors, it made changes to commencement parking arrangements.
"This is for the safety and smooth experience for the graduates and guests attending the ceremonies at the Fertitta Center," the school said.
Cullen Boulevard will be closed between Elgin Street and Cougar Place Dr. through Saturday. Anyone attending graduation should plan to arrive at least an hour and a half before the start of the ceremony.
