HOUSTON — A big traffic alert happened on the east side of the Houston area Tuesday. A big spool sat on the East Freeway, blocking some lanes.
From Houston TranStar cameras, the spool was seen on the main lanes of I-10 Westbound just before Wayside. A second spool was also seen off the side of the freeway.
It’s not clear who the spool belongs to or if anyone was injured. According to Houston TranStar, it was affecting the right shoulder and two center lanes.
