HOUSTON — The I-610 North Loop headed east is scheduled to close this weekend as crews work on bridge repairs near I-69, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
The closure will start at 9 p.m. Friday, October 18, and is scheduled to last until 5 a.m. Monday, October 21.
The eastbound lanes of the North Loop from Irvington Boulevard to the Eastex Freeway will be shut down. Drivers will be directed to take the I-69 southbound exit until the Collingsworth exit, where they can do a U-turn to get back onto the North Loop.
As a part of the closure, the connector ramp between the Eastex Freeway northbound and the North Loop westbound will be shut down. Drivers on I-69 can take the I-610 eastbound connector ramp and take a U-turn at Lockwood Drive to get onto the North Loop headed west.
