HOUSTON — The North Freeway is back open near Beltway 8 following a crash involving two 18-wheelers Friday morning.
According to Houston Transtar, this happened just before 4 a.m. near Greens Road. The freeway reopened just after 10 a.m.
KHOU 11 traffic expert Jennifer Reyna said drivers can still take the feeder road which is open or the Hardy Toll Road.
However, the Hardy Toll Road is also a suggested alternate route for those looking to avoid a deadly crash on the Eastex Freeway so there could be increased traffic there as well.
