KATY, Texas — A fiery crash involving an 18-wheeler shut down part of Grand Parkway in Katy Monday morning, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
The crash was reported in the 7 a.m. hour on the West Grand Parkway near West Fernhurst Street. All of the northbound lanes were closed for several hours before reopening around lunchtime.
Traffic had to be diverted off the parkway at Kingsland.
KHOU 11 is working to find out the cause of the crash, if anyone was injured and what was inside the tractor-trailer.
