ARDMORE, Okla. — Drivers heading into Oklahoma from Texas may expect a slowdown after a trailer crashed into a highway sign on Interstate 35 Tuesday, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers.
The outside lane of I-35 northbound is closed in Ardmore because of the crash, according to OHP. Troopers said it appears the truck’s trailer was raised while it was on I-35, and the driver didn’t know it until it hit the sign and ripped the trailer from the truck.
No injuries were reported.
A wrecker company was working to get a crane to remove the trailer, but traffic is expected to be slow on I-35 northbound in Ardmore Tuesday morning, troopers said.
