HOUSTON — A van carried by a semi-truck was ripped apart when the 18-wheeler went under a bridge Tuesday night, Houston police said.
It happened on the Katy Freeway at Washington Avenue. Police first tweeted about the incident at 7:18 p.m.
According to Houston TranStar, the crash closed the right shoulder, right lane and two center lanes. The crash was confirmed clear at 8:22 p.m.
The load couldn't fit under the bridge and photos showed part of the van hanging from the structure.
It's unclear if anyone was injured in the crash.
