HOUSTON — If you’re driving on the Katy Freeway today, there’s a big traffic tie-up you’ll want to avoid.
The issue is happening along I-10 eastbound at Houston Avenue. A truck and another vehicle were involved in a wreck and the truck lost its load. According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the bridge was also hit.
As of 4:20 p.m., we could see at least three lanes that were shut down.
Depending on where you’re heading, you could take Washington Avenue as an alternate.
We’ll update this page as soon as the wreck clears and the lanes open back up.
