HOUSTON — There’s a major traffic alert for anyone driving along I-10 heading eastbound today. An incident with a truck and a bridge has multiple lanes shut down.
At this point, it’s not clear exactly how the incident happened, but from a photo post to X by the Texas Department of Transportation, you can see multiple lanes shut down at Lockwood and what looks like broken concrete on the road. According to TxDOT, it’s from an incident with an over-height truck and the bridge.
We don’t know about any injuries or how long the lanes will be closed. Crews are inspecting the bridge for damage.
