I-10 eastbound at Lockwood reopens after incident with heavy truck and bridge

Crews are inspecting a bridge along I-10.
HOUSTON — I-10 eastbound at Lockwood has reopened after an incident with a truck and a bridge shut down all lanes.
At this point, it’s not clear exactly how the incident happened. According to TxDOT, it was from an incident with an over-height truck and the bridge. TxDOT shut down all lanes to remove a damaged overhead.
Update: Crews still on scene of bridge/ heavy truck incident on I-10 East Freeway eastbound at Lockwood. Currently, all eastbound mainlanes of I-10 at Lockwood blocked. A damaged overhead said must be removed. Last will remain closed for at least the next two hours. pic.twitter.com/lzjP9KVXgQ
