BROOKSHIRE, Texas — The Katy Freeway was shut down in both directions in Brookshire Monday morning due to an overturned 18-wheeler and a hazmat spill, according to Houston Transtar.
This happened just after 8:30 a.m. near FM 359 in Waller County.
Heavy machinery could be seen trying to flip the big rig, but appeared largely unsuccessful, instead damaging the truck.
Both sides reopened a few hours after the crash.
