HOUSTON — A heavy truck crash that resulted in an oil spill is created a backup on the East Loop northbound at Clinton Thursday morning.
Houston TranStar verified the crash at 10:46 a.m. and the Houston Police Department confirmed that the crash caused an oil spill that closed multiple lanes.
The crash involved two vehicles. It wasn't immediately clear if there were any injuries.
HPD asked that drivers take alternate routes if they are headed that way.
