HOUSTON — Scattered thunderstorms are slowly moving across the Houston area, causing flooding and ponding on streets and major roadways.
Meteorologist Addison Green said rainfall rates of 2-3 inches per hour have lead to flash flood advisories being issued in certain areas, predominately in northeast Houston area.
