Two temporary closures impacting Houston highways this weekend

One will affect part of the SW Freeway until Saturday afternoon while part of the South Loop will be closed until early Monday morning.

HOUSTON — TxDOT's Houston district has announced two temporary closures around south Houston this weekend.

Both of them are scheduled to shut down by 9 p.m. Friday.

Weekend closures:

All southbound lanes of I-69/Southwest Freeway at the 610/West Loop. The closure will last until 3 p.m. Saturday.
All westbound lanes of 610/South Loop between I-45 to Holmes Road. The closure will last until 5 a.m. Monday. Closures include multiple connector ramps and entrance/exit ramps.
