HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A heavy truck crash that caused a hazmat scene has shut down the interchange ramp from the Grand Parkway headed north to US 290, according to Houston TranStar.
Houston TranStar verified the crash at 8:15 a.m. They said both lanes of the interchange ramp were blocked.
The Texas Department of Transportation said in addition to getting the vehicle cleared from the scene, a guardrail will need to be repaired.
We don't yet know what the truck was carrying or if there were injuries. It's unclear when the crash will be cleared.
