MISSOURI CITY, Texas- A train hit a trailer of a FedEx truck early Saturday morning in Missouri City, sending debris all over the road.

According to authorities, the accident happened around 12:15 a.m. on S. Main (Highway 90) at Cravens when a FedEx 18-wheeler with two trailers pulled to a stop sign after going over the railroad tracks.

Police said the driver did not realize the back end of the trailer was still over the tracks when a train came and slammed into the back end of the second trailer.

The impact ripped open the trailer, and packages inside went flying out.

Police said a woman in a black car was sitting next to the 18 wheeler. Her car was struck by debris from the wreckage.

She was taken to the hospital with very minor injuries. Nobody else was hurt in the accident.
