HOUSTON — A deadly crash involving an 18-wheeler led to a shutdown of the Eastex Freeway heading north just before Beltway 8, according to the Houston Transtar.
This happened around 5:15 a.m. The deadly crash led to the freeway being shut down through the morning rush hour.
Drivers can use the Hardy Toll Road as an alternate route.
