HOUSTON — A crash that closed all lanes of Westheimer Road Monday morning was still causing headaches during the evening rush hour.
HPD tweeted that a vehicle hit a power pole knocking the line onto the road just after 8:15 a.m.
As of 6:30 p.m., CenterPoint was still working to repair the lines.
It is not known what caused the crash, if there were any injuries, or when the road will be reopened.
Drivers are advised to avoid the 9700 to 9900 blocks of Westheimer near South Gessner as the work continues.
