A driver died after hitting several barriers in a wreck along Highway 59 in Rosenberg overnight.
The pickup driver was hauling a large livestock trailer, apparently with no animals inside, when he lost control near Cottonwood Church Road. According to a wrecker driver at the scene, the pickup driver was ejected from the truck and ended up underneath it.
The driver died at the scene, police told the wrecker driver.
Rosenberg Police investigated the incident, partially affecting northbound traffic for several hours early Thursday.
