HOUSTON — Houston's Minute Maid Park be one of four host sites for the 2026 World Baseball Classic.
Teams in Pool B - which includes the United States, Mexico, Great Britain, Italy, and one more team to be decided during qualifiers - will play games at Minute Maid Park from March 6, 2026, to March 11, 2026. Times will be released at a later date.
This will be the first time Minute Maid Park hosts games for the World Baseball Classic.
Houston will also host quarterfinal matchups alongside loanDepot Park in Miami on March 13, 2026, and March 14, 2026. The Pool A and Pool B quarterfinals will be played in Houston. The semifinals will be played in Miami on March 15, 2026, and March 16, 2026, with the championship game on March 17.
The other two ballparks hosting games include Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.
