HOUSTON — The University of St. Thomas is heading to the NCAA tournament for Division III.
St. Thomas earned an at-large bid and will face East Texas Baptist University in Belton, Texas, on Friday. This is the first year the school has been eligible to compete in national tournaments after being a provisional member of the NCAA.
The roster for St. Thomas (23-3), coached by Anthony Medina, consists of players predominately from the Houston area.
Five Celts were named all-conference this season.
