PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Five days and 114 miles later, Slugger, the Portland Sea Dogs mascot, returned to Hadlock Field completing his walk from Fenway Park as a mean's to raise money and awareness for tourette syndrome.
Slugger started his trek in Boston on Sunday morning and arrived in Portland on Thursday afternoon. In honor of his 20th birthday, he's hoping to raise $20,000 for Tourette's.
As of this report, more than $14,000 has been raised.
