SPRING, Texas — Fresh off another incredible performance at the Olympic Games, our hometown hero Simone Biles is back in the Houston area.
While she was in Paris, Biles won three golds and a silver.
And now, she is all about her newest work. She's headlining the Gold Over America Tour -- or GOAT -- which features her Olympic teammates and stops at the Toyota Center in October.
"So much for a break after Paris. Or do we just assume that you need a break?" KHOU 11's Jason Bristol asked Biles on Friday at World Champions Center in Spring.
"Yeah, a break is needed," she said. "Yes, absolutely."
"So how are you physically?" Bristol asked, mentioning the boot on her leg that she was wearing -- the same one we saw her wearing in Paris.

"Right now, I'm feeling pretty good," she said. "Feeling pretty healthy, just doing therapy for usual. Usually, it's your mind, you have to work on, your body, too. So just precautionary."
The Gold Over American Tour is coming to Toyota Center in Houston on Oct. 19. What should fans in attendance expect?
"It's kind of a celebration party in the USA, very high energy performance, very good music and excitement," Biles said. "Think of Dancing with the Stars, but a gymnastics version with some of, well, we have our Olympians, men and women, as well as some guest appearances from outside the country, so I'm really excited about it."
"When you look at the teammates you have for this thing, the best of the best, With everything in Paris, the highs, the lows, the pressure. Is everyone in a good space?" Bristol asked.
"Yes," she said. "Most definitely. Obviously, there's always going to be highs and lows, but we're here to lean on each other, support each other and that's exactly what friends are for."
