Houston Texans running back Joe Mixon (28) runs past Green Bay Packers linebacker Edgerrin Cooper (56) for a touchdown.

GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Lambeau Leap is tradition at the home of the Green Bay Packers, but apparently it’s only for players on the home team.  And it’s a tradition enforced by the fans.

Texans running back Joe Mixon found that out after scoring a second quarter touchdown against the Packers to put Houston up 10-7. Mixon took it in from a yard out and then went straight for a Houston fan sitting in the first row to celebrate.

The Texans fan was clearly outnumbered by cheeseheads and Mixon was promptly rejected when he did the leap.

"He's trying to do the Lambeau Leap,” announcer Jim Nantz said.

The Texans are trying to improve to 6-1 on the season, taking on the 4-2 Green Bay Packers.
