J.J. Watt gives view on new replay rules during Dan Patrick Show

“I would say they just want the call right,” Watt said. “I think they’re going more towards making the calls on the field as right as possible, which is good for the players and the fans, I imagine.”

HOUSTON — Houston Texans star J.J. Watt called in to the Dan Patrick Show Wednesday morning and was asked about the move by NFL owners to make pass interference calls and non-calls reviewable.

“I would say they just want the call right,” Watt said. “I think they’re going more towards making the calls on the field as right as possible, which is good for the players and the fans, I imagine.”

The vote came in part because of the backlash over the New Orleans Saints’ pass from the NFC Championship game that left a lot of New Orleans fans feeling gypped.
