Texans standout edge defender Jadeveon Clowney turned in a monster 2017 campaign. For his consistent disruptive and destructive tendencies on opposing offenses, Clowney was selected for Pro Bowl honors.
Unfortunately, Clowney will miss the all-star exhibition game later this month. The 24-year-old will undergo a minor knee scope to help clean up the knee. He had a similar procedure last year, after he also earned Pro Bowl honors.
Clowney played a full 16-game schedule for the first time in his four-year career in 2017, so the defensive end has proven he can be durable even after offseason surgery.
He is expected to make a full and complete recovery before training camp begins.
