HOUSTON — Houston Texans fans are fired up after the team trounced the Cleveland Browns 45-14 Saturday, advancing to the next round of the playoffs.
The Texans haven't seen a playoff game since 2019, and now, thanks to rookie Coach DeMeco Ryans, rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud and the rest of the team, the Texans are just two wins away from the Super Bowl.
Saturday's playoff win against the Browns garnered great reaction from fans, city leaders and former Texans legend JJ Watt.
"So damn happy," said Watt. "Houston, you deserve this."
Houston Police Department Chief Troy Finner was so happy about the Texans' win that he said all Houston police officers are allowed to wear Texans ball caps through the Super Bowl.
Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo even showed her excitement after the win.
Former football player Michael Irvin showed C.J. Stroud some love saying, "Houston, we have a problem!"
