Check out what adding Stefon Diggs to the Texans' roster did to their odds of winning the Super Bowl

The Texans are now one of the favorites to win it all.

HOUSTON — What happens when you add a No. 1 receiver to an already loaded roster? Your odds to win it all get much better.

The Houston Texans made it official on Thursday, announcing Stefon Diggs was joining the team. And when they did, their odds to win the Super Bowl jumped.

Before the trade with Buffalo that brought the four-time Pro Bowler to Houston, the Texans' odds to win the Super Bowl were 22-1, according to SportsBetting.AG and BetOnline.com. Their odds to win the AFC were at 11-1.

After the deal, the odds to win the Super Bowl jumped to 10-1 and the odds to win the NFC increased to 11-2. That makes the Houston Texans one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl. The only teams with better odds to win it all are the Chiefs, Niners and Ravens.

Meanwhile, Diggs greeted the Houston fans on social media.

"What's up, H-Town," Diggs said on the Texans X account. "Stefon Diggs here. I'm excited to get going, excited to get to work. Let's go."

Photos of Diggs in the Texans locker room were also posted to the team's X account. There's still no word on when an introductory press conference will be.

With a change of address comes a change of number for Diggs. In Buffalo, the star receiver was No. 14. With his move to Houston, Diggs is changing his number to 1, according to the Texans' roster and social media account.

When you put Digs' No. 1 between quarterback CJ Stroud's No. 7 and Tank Dell's No. 3, you get the OG Houston area code.
