HOUSTON - Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is a rising star but he's facing some competition - from his sister.
Hopkins' sister, Kesha Smith, is the newest member of the Houston Energy, the women's football league.
"Now that I am playing receiver I do in some ways try to model myself after him," said Smith.
Not only do they share a love for football, they also share an apartment. You can often catch the brother and sister watching highlights together.
Hopkins admits that he was surprised when he first heard his sister was going to play.
"It's something that I feel like this city should support, we have a woman's football team that's professionals at what they do," said Hopkins.
Smith hopes she can prove it's not just men who belong on the field, "I don't think football has a gender."
